Skilled Nursing provides care for those who need it 24/7. We combine comprehensive medical care and assistance with daily tasks on both a short-term and long-term basis.
Our Skilled Nursing team is made up of professional nurses as well as nurse assistants, physical therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and more. Our extensive team makes sure we can provide residents with the care they need, when they need it.
Skilled Nursing is for those who need round-the-clock care for both medical needs and daily activities. We help residents with everything from bathing and dressing to wound care and stroke rehabilitation.
Compared to Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing is typically for those who need more advanced medical care. Sometimes, Skilled Nursing helps to fill the gap between the hospital and home. Skilled Nursing residents are often well enough to leave the hospital but still too sick to return home.
Individuals in a skilled nursing community generally have physical or cognitive impairments that require daily assistance. Most residents are no longer able to live on their own, so they rely on our 24-hour care staff to meet their skilled medical, nursing, and rehabilitation needs.
Post-acute care is a type of skilled nursing that supports seniors recovering from an acute injury, illness, or other condition requiring a hospital stay. It may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and the use of highly specialized medical equipment.
Transitional care supports seniors who are trying to regain their independence after a period of depending on professional help to meet their medical needs. Seniors with complicated health issues or multiple conditions who no longer need hospital care benefit most from transitional care services.
Memory care provides specific activity programs, social opportunities, nutritional support and medical resources for seniors with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. We also provide support services and education for the families of these residents through our Nursing Care Centers.
Our rehabilitation programs are designed to help seniors regain physical and mental capabilities that have diminished naturally over time or as the result of an illness or injury. This form of skilled nursing is intended to help each resident enjoy as much independence as possible while they are part of our community.
